Annual Schedule

Puddle splashers is located on School District properties where we will close for any emergency closure days that the Burnaby School District has declared such as snow days and/or excessive heat days.Please understand that it is important that you pick your child up by closing time.

Parents consistently late picking up his/her child we will be subject to a late fine of $1 per each minute late.

As change can introduce anxiety for some of our little friends, we try to stay as close to the schedule as possible. We encourage routine for little ones as it is super important.

Below is a sample schedule for our daycare. Please note that the schedule can change occasionally due to possible field trips or other circumstances that are beyond our control.

Flexible Daily Routine (3-5 Year Olds)

Free choice (table toys, puzzles, books, open ended art, etc.)
Clean-Up
9:45 AM to 10:00 AM
Wash hands/Washroom
10:00 AM to 10:10 AM
Snack time
10:10 AM to 10:30 AM
Circle Time
10:30 AM to 11:00 AM
Stories, song, yoga, etc. Theme based learning
Outside
11:00 AM to 11:45 AM
(depending on weather)
Wash hands/Washroom
11:45 AM to 12:00 PM
Lunchtime
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Ongoing story time as children finish lunch and do bathroom routines
Naptime and quiet activities
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Clean up and story time
3:00 PM to 3:15 PM
Snacktime
3:15 PM to 3:45 PM
Outside
3:45 PM to 4:30 PM

Junior and Senior Kids Club schedules are determined each year in order to meet the needs of the group attending.

The infant/toddler program schedule is very flexible to meet the needs of the young children in our care. They will be introduced to story time, and art and crafts thru out the day as they explore their environment.

The centre is open Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
